Free HPGL Viewer
HPLG file is a printer instruction file based on the plotter language developed
by Hewlett-Packard. This type of files (*.phgl file extension) contains and are
used to send information to plotter printers, which draw images using lines instead
dots that are used on laser or inkjet printers. HP Graphics Language is formed from
a series of two letter codes followed by arguments, normally separated by commas,
and ending in the separator character which by default is semicolon. This file format
was not intended as an interchange format, but is used as such from some software
HPGL/2 is the successor of the old HPGL format. HPGL/2 processes expanded vector and raster information using very little memory space. According to the distribution any CAD system supports HP plotter drivers.
